ABOUT LOVEDOUGH
LOVEDOUGH WAS BORN IN THE UK, OCTOBER 2000 AND LAUNCHED IT'S FIRST CLUBNIGHT IN FEBRUARY 2001.
The brands ethos is, in itself essentially Hip Hop, for two reasons: Firstly; musically the sets are delivered by DJ's who can cut, juggle and scratch but who are not just limited to one or two genres. LoveDough takes it back to a grass roots level whereby a nod is given to the pioneers: DJ Kool Herc, Grandmaster Flash, Grand Wizard Theodore and Jazzy Jeff etc Who in the late 70's / early to mid 80's would play anything from Funk and Disco to House and Hip Hop and as such it was more about having a party (and in New York, mostly a block party!) but at the same time a party delivered in their own unique, genre defining way. Secondly; LoveDough's focus is not just the music that drives its scene, but also the dance (street and break), art and fashion - colourful, outlandish and chic - always carrying a particular confidence and attitude.

LoveDough club nights are about delivering a show and with that an experience. This is accomplished through an acute attention to detail and identifying how to make a party different through the incorporation of a whole plethora of talent from street magicians to beatboxers. This combined with some plain old-fashioned showmanship through the use of quality production and unique touches.
Since its inception LoveDough has spread it’s wings from London to Ibiza, from Lebanon to Abu Dabi and now the U.S. - namely Las Vegas and Hollywood respectively. It has showcased some of the biggest names in the scene from Old Skool legends, such as, Grandmaster Flash, Jazzy Jeff, De La Doul's Maseo, Tony Touch, Prince Paul, Ca$h Money, modern day R’n’B / Soul & Funk vocalists Amerie, Terri Walker, Bluey Robinson, Taio Cruz (as an up and coming artist) and Kele Le Roc right through to UK superstars Tinie Tempah, Ms Dynamite, Chipmunk, N Dubz, Giggs, Professor Green and Wiley as well as representing all of the finest underground UK stars, such as, Tempa T, Sway, JME, Ghetts, Bashy and P Money to name a few.

No matter the city or the names involved one constant has always remained: the whole LoveDough ethos and experience. In the coming months we will be pushing the brand to even greater heights, including more LoveDough international events and performances.
